Selling with intelisell also means you have total control in all the decisions involved in selling your property .
Question : Can I have a refund? Yes you can. You will be given a full refund of the amount you have paid for that period if you decide you no longer wish to advertise your property . This must happen within the first 24 hours of advertising with intelisell and have had no interest shown on the property.
Question : Are my details kept private ? Yes they are . The only contact details are those which you put on the site for potential buyers to contact you . The only people who have your credit card details is the company responsible for taking your automated payment. This company uses the latest technology to ensure your details are safe.
Question : Do I need to use an estate agent? No you do not . You will be doing yourself what the estate agent traditionally would be paid to do for you. There is no law which prevents you selling your house privately . If you decide you want to use an estate agent as well as intelisell there is no problem either. Just be careful as to the type of contract you have with your estate agent . There are a few contracts to be aware of.
Question : Do I need a for sale board? Strictly speaking you do not but to optimise the interest in your property it is strongly recommended that you get one as a lot of the interest in your property will come from local passing trade seeing your sign. After all you want as much interest as possible so you can get the best deal available.
Question : Are the for sale signs easy to assemble? Yes they are. Your for sale sign will be posted out to you within the first few days of you registering your advertisement. When it arrives it will have full instructions on how to assemble the sign.
Question : How do I get a for sale board? Simply click on the box where you are asked do you want to buy a for sale sign. Then the sign will automatically be requested and sent directly to you by post.
Question : Why is there no phone number on the sign? It is easier to remember a web address than a telephone number . As it is you who is selling your house it would need to be your number on the sign so in order to protect your privacy it is left off.
Question : how do I pay? The preffered method of payment is through paypal, if you cannot use this method of payment then you can send a cheque . If you choose to pay by cheque then your advertisement will not be seen for a few days by buyers until the cheque clears . Cheques should be made payable to intelisell
Question : How Much Does A For Sale /to Let Board Cost. To lease a for sale/to let board from intelisell it will cost £30.00 +£10 refundable deposit on return of the board to intelisell To buy the board will cost £30 . If you lease a board intelisell will get the board erected and collect the board from your property when your property is sold. If you buy the board then it is your board so you erect it then take it down on completion of the sale. boards are only available to lease in certain areas. please contact the intelisell office for further information.
Question : How Much Does It Cost To Sell With Intelisell There are two different selling options option 1 : £75 per month each month until your property os sold . option 2 : £150 for a three month period. If your house is not sold in this period then you pay £50 a month up to a futher 3 months If after the 6 months are up and your property is still for sale your property is advertised free of charge until sold.
Question : How Much Does It Cost To Advertise To Let The cost to advertise your property to let is £50 per month.
Question : how do I know the value of my house There are a number of ways to find the value of your property. There is no exact figure or correct price for your house.You can ask for as much as you like for your house but your property is worth as much or as little as the buyer is willing to pay. To get a starting figure you can .Ask a few local estate agents for a free valuation .Different values may be obtained from each agent. You take whatever one suits you. .look in local newspapers, property magizines, and estate agents windows to find house proces in your local neighbourhood. .Ask friends and neighbours. Remember the value of your property depends on supply and demand , location , decoration and condition. It may be an idea to set the selling price low to begin with to atract people to look at the house .The more interested buyers there are the higher the selling price will rise.
Question : Do I have to accept an offer. No you do not. consider any offer very carefully and never be rushed into accepting it if it is not what you truly want.
Question : What Do I Do Once I Have Accepted An Offer Once an offer has been made on your property and you have accepted it you will need to get some details from the buyer to give to your solicitor You will need the buyers name address phone number their solicitor details exact amount of the agreed offer all these details need to be passes onto your solicitor.
Question : What Is A Hip The term HIP stands for home information pack.
